Chris Mudrick serves as the Senior Vice President, Generation Growth, for Constellation, the nation’s largest producer of clean, carbon-free energy and a leading supplier of energy products and services to businesses, homes, community aggregations and public sector customers across the continental United States, including three fourths of Fortune 100 companies. In this role, Mudrick is responsible for executive oversight of the restart of the Crane Clean Energy Center (previously TMI Unit 1), as well as emerging growth projects within Constellation.
Professional Background
Mudrick has more than 37 years in the nuclear sector. Prior to joining Constellation, he was the Chief Nuclear Officer and Executive Vice President for Bruce Power from 2020-2024. He was responsible for the overall nuclear leadership of Bruce Power’s fleet of eight CANDU nuclear reactors producing 6,500 megawatts of zero-carbon energy for the Province of Ontario.
He spent much of his career with Exelon (and its predecessor companies). From 2011-2020, as the Senior Vice President East Operations and Chief Operating Officer of CENG, he was responsible for six nuclear sites with ten reactors.
Industry Work
Mudrick chaired the EPRI Used Fuel and High-Level Waste Management Committee for several years. He also chaired the Nuclear Energy Institute Security Working Group for four years. He currently chairs the HOLTEC Advisory Committee on SMRs and is deputy chair of the WANO CNO Advisory Council.
Educational Background
Mudrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. He was licensed by the NRC as a Senior Reactor Operator at Limerick. He has completed several leadership programs, including ELI at Northwestern University and the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Nuclear Society and the Canadian Nuclear Society.
