Scott Edwards is the Vice President of Regulatory Development for Core Power. Scott has over three decades of leadership in nuclear fuel transportation and regulatory development. In his role as VP of Regulatory Development at CORE POWER, he is at the forefront of shaping the regulatory landscape for floating maritime nuclear solutions. Scott holds a blend of qualifications, including a background in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering, combined with an MBA. Since joining the US Navy at Naval Reactors in 1989, Scott has gained over 35 years’ experience delivering complex programs and has become a driving force to build regulations and standards within the nuclear industry. Scott also served on the Transport Safety Standards Committee (TRANSSC) at the IAEA during a 3-year assignment to the World Nuclear Transport Institute in London.
