Russ Wells

Senior Program Manager, Nuclear Fleet Licensing

Russ Wells is currently a senior licensing program manager with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). He has over 40 years licensing experience including operating reactors, new reactors, license renewal, and gaseous diffusion plants." He has assisted in the development of numerous inservice testing alternative request for each of the TVA Brown Ferry, Sequoyah, and Watts Bar nuclear plants. He was instrumental in the licensing of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plan Unit 2 in October 2015. He has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and an MBA both from the Pennsylvania State University and served in the U.S. navy for 5 years.
