Lukas Brun

Lukas Brun is the Research Director at E4 Carolinas, where he leads externally funded initiatives focused on developing regional energy clusters. He recently co-authored a study with Joseph Von Nessen of the University of South Carolina examining the economic impact of the nuclear industry across the Southeast United States—including North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia. In addition to his research work, Lukas serves as the staff lead for the Southeast Nuclear Energy Council, a collaborative initiative that brings together industry, government, and academic stakeholders to accelerate the deployment of new nuclear power in the region. He holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
