Dr. Sola Talabi is President of Pittsburgh Technical, a nuclear consulting practice specializing in advanced reactor development, deployment, and workforce development. He has served on the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Advanced Reactors, contributing to national strategies for next-generation nuclear technologies. Dr. Talabi is the founding lead of the first major funded and largest planned Nuclear Workforce Development Hub in the United States, spanning all 13 states in Appalachia, with a mission to build capacity and expertise to support the deployment of advanced reactors. With extensive experience bridging industry, policy, and education, Dr. Talabi advises on reactor innovation, licensing strategies, and stakeholder engagement to accelerate the safe, reliable, and socially responsible growth of nuclear energy. His leadership integrates technical excellence with regional economic development, ensuring that the next generation of nuclear professionals is equipped to meet the energy demand challenges of the future.
