Sam Reiss

National Reactor Innovation Center

Sam Reiss is the manager of the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). Prior to leading the team, he was a technical program manager within NRIC supporting reactor developers such as Oklo, BWXT, Aalo, and NanoNuclear with their nuclear energy deployments. Prior to joining INL, Sam spent seven years at 3M working in product development and engineering for 3D printed polymers and stable isotopes for nuclear applications. Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering and master’s degree in nuclear engineering and engineering physics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Currently he is pursuing an MBA from the University of Indiana – Bloomington.
