Chuck Hope
Chair, Energy Communities Alliance and Oak Ridge, Tennessee City Council Member
Local businessman Chuck Hope has served on Oak Ridge (Tennessee) City Council since 2011 and is the appointed member by Council to the Energy Communities Alliance (ECA) where he works with Department of Energy (DOE) officials and federal legislators. He is the current chair of the ECA Executive Board for 2026. For 45 years, Chuck has owned Chuck’s Car Care Center, an automotive repair shop serving Oak Ridge and the surrounding community. He is married to Maryjeane Krusen Hope and they have two sons and three granddaughters.
