Marc Devereaux serves as the Executive Vice President for GE Nuclear Steam Power Services. In this role, he is responsible for a team of more than 180 commercial and operational professionals and is accountable for delivering business results and customer lifecycle value comprised of core services and upgrades across GE and other OEM nuclear steam turbine/generator installed assets.
Marc began his General Electric career in 1999 as a business analyst with GE Capital after completing his United States Coast Guard active-duty obligations and then transitioned to the Coast Guard Reserves. From 2001 through 2007, Marc joined GE Energy Services and served in both operations and commercial director positions across GE and other OEM installed bases for the gas, steam, and nuclear portfolios. In 2007, he assumed the role as the North American Commercial Director focused on the US nuclear steam power portfolio conversion to multi-year agreements. In 2013, Marc advanced as the Director of global business development leading merger and acquisition activities for GE Controls business. In 2015, Marc was promoted to Managing Director for the Americas Region of GE’s Distributed Power Services business responsible for aeroderivative gas turbines, reciprocating engines, and third-party channels. In 2017, Marc was appointed as North Region Managing Director for GE Energy Gas, Power, and Steam Services and in 2020 advanced to Executive North American Leader for GE Gas Power Products. Marc has gained more than twenty-seven years of experience serving customers in power generation and distribution markets and build lasting relationships with our IPP, EPC, and utility customers over his career.
Marc holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Marine Environmental Science and Power Plant Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and an MBA from Suffolk University. He is also a member of Nuclear Energy Institute and Institute for Nuclear Plant Operations. In addition, Marc retired in 2024 as a Captain in the US Coast Guard Reserves and completed twenty-six years of combined active and reserve military service. Marc and his family reside in Boston.
