Mark is an international lawyer who chairs the firm’s practice on nuclear energy, international trade, and national security matters. He has led the Eversheds Sutherland team in acquisitions and dispositions in the nuclear sector, represented clients in nuclear-related disputes, and advised on a broad range of compliance and regulatory issues. Mark acts for clients in numerous complex matters, including international mergers and acquisitions, trade remedies, CFIUS reviews, industrial security, and internal investigations. He advises companies regarding the energy transition and has played a lead role in resolving international trade disputes involving such key products as semiconductors and uranium.
Mark was the Chairman of the British-American Business Association (BABA) for five years and served multiple terms as the U.S. member of the Board of Management of the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA). He currently serves on the U.S. roster of experts appointed to binational panels to resolve international trade disputes under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
Mark is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Michigan Law School, and he served as Note Editor of the Michigan Law Review.
