Educational Session|Innovation
The Nuclear Industry Virtual Assistant, known as NIVA, is a federated AI platform built by INPO, EPRI, NEI, and a group of leading utilities to put decades of nuclear knowledge within reach of the people who run the plants. This session takes attendees inside the pilot, showcasing the platform's capabilities across INPO, EPRI, NEI, and publicly available NRC data sources. Speakers Discuss the targeted usecase including operating experience search, knowledge transfer, and AI-assisted troubleshooting for degraded components and system conditions. They will also share where the pilot stands today, what the early results show, and the next steps in the path to production.
What You'll Gain
Discover how a federated AI platform can pool decades of nuclear knowledge into a single secure assistant that supports operating experience search, knowledge transfer, and AI-assisted troubleshooting, while keeping every contributing organization in control of its own data and intellectual property, and gain an honest view of where the pilot stands today and what its early results signal for moving to full production.
Who Should Attend
Operations and engineering staff who would use OE search and troubleshooting day to day, knowledge management and OE program leads, IT and digital leaders evaluating secure AI in nuclear settings, utility executives weighing industry AI investments, and regulatory or compliance professionals tracking how AI is governed across the fleet.
