When and where is the meeting?

The Nuclear Energy Conference & Expo will take place September 8-11, 2025, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA.

Who is hosting NECX?

NECX is a joint conference hosted by the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). You may receive communications about the event from both organizations.

How do I register for the meeting?

Registration for NECX will open this spring! Stay tuned for details.

What is included with registration?

Registration to NECX includes access to educational tracks, plenary sessions, parties, networking opportunities, and admission to the exhibit hall.

Do I need to stay in the NECX hotel room block?

While not required, booking within the official NECX room block is strongly recommended. Most all NECX sessions, events, and activities take place at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Staying at the official conference hotel will provide you with the best meeting experience and great nightly room rates.

I am presenting in a session; do I need to register?

Yes, all attendees are required to register for the conference. Contact registrar@ans.org with any registration questions.

Is there an official PowerPoint template I can use?

Yes! Please download the NECX PowerPoint template and customize it for your presentation.

How do I request accommodations for food allergies, restrictions, or other dietary needs?

During registration, please check the box indicating your dietary requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please contact registrar@ans.org with any questions or concerns.

How do I communicate accessibility needs to the conference organizers?

Our goal is to ensure all conferences are accessible to everyone. When you register for the conference, please check the box labeled "Do you have a disability or special need which requires additional support?". Someone from the conference department will follow up with you to clarify your needs. You can contact them directly at any time by emailing registrar@ans.org.
