Chris Thornell serves as the EPU Program Director for Southern Nuclear. This includes the oversite for the nuclear plants increasing capacity through efficiency modifications and power uprate projects including fuel cycle extensions. He brings extensive experience to this role with 34 years of experience with Southern Nuclear. This includes Senior Manager and Director leadership positions within Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Work Management. Chris graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and obtained a Senior Reactor Operators license. Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing, hunting and land management and more importantly spending time with his family.
