Brad Tomer

Brad Tomer serves as Director of the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) at Idaho National Laboratory, where he leads partnerships with industry to accelerate the demonstration and deployment of advanced nuclear energy technology.
Before joining NRIC, Brad held executive roles at Avitas Systems, a GE Venture, serving as Interim CEO and VP of Operations. There, he oversaw robotic-based data collection, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence solutions that delivered predictive industrial insights for the electric power and oil and gas sectors. He previously served as General Manager of Advanced Technology for GE Oil and Gas, developing innovative technologies across the oil and gas value stream.
Earlier in his career, Brad held multiple executive positions at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, including Chief Operating Officer, Director of the Office of Major Demonstrations, and Director of the Strategic Center for Natural Gas and Oil.
