Kevin Petty serves as the TVA REP Program Manager for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. He oversees the daily operations of the States radiological emergency preparedness program Supporting the Sequoyah and Watts Bar Nuclear Plants. Kevin joined the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program as a Fixed Nuclear Facility Specialist in 2017.
Kevin Petty started his public safety career in the fire service in 2004, he attended the Tennessee State Fire Academy. In 2007 Kevin earned his Emergency Medical Technician certificate, working in emergency medical services until starting his career with Tennessee Emergency Management Agency’s State Watch Point as Operations Officer in 2013, Kevin was promoted to Operations Supervisor for the State Watch Point at TEMA in2016.
With more than 20 years of experience in emergency services and emergency management, Kevin is dedicated to advancing radiological preparedness and enhancing Tennessee’s ability to protect its communities.
