Maritza is a Partner at NGP, where she leads investments in NGP’s energy transition funds. She brings experience spanning private equity investing, operating leadership, and energy infrastructure development. Prior to joining NGP in 2021, Maritza was a Partner at Kleiner Perkins’ Green Growth Fund and served as CFO of a residential design and energy-efficiency company. Earlier in her career, she developed utility-scale wind energy and merchant transmission projects in Montana and Alberta, Canada. Maritza began her career at Boston Consulting Group. Maritza earned dual B.A. and B.S. degrees from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.
