Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO)
Scott has more than 35 years of progressive industry experience (7.5 years with INPO and 27.5 years with Southern Company and Exelon). At INPO, he has been the manager of Plant Operations since November 2024. He previously had assignments as corporate continuum leader, station continuum leader, and senior evaluator. He partnered with the industry to develop the original and revised versions of IER L2-21-4, Improving Plant Reliability. Before joining INPO, he held cross-functional positions at Southern Company and Exelon: he was director of Operations, Work Management director, senior manager of Strategic Engineering, and manager of Secondary and Auxiliary Systems. He obtained his Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license at Calvert Cliffs where he also qualified as Shift Manager and Shift Technical Advisor.
