Ashley Demeter is the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s senior resident inspector at Byron Nuclear Generating Station in Byron, Illinois. She joined the NRC in 2021 as a project engineer in Region III and previously held the role of resident inspector at Byron. Prior to joining the NRC, she worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in the nuclear test engineering division and nuclear quality division.
Ashley earned a master's degree in nuclear engineering from North Carolina State University and a bachelor's degree in physics from Baldwin Wallace University.
