Matthew Warren is an International Representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), where he advocates for workers across the utility and energy industries. A member of the IBEW since 2007, Matthew was appointed to the International Office in 2022 after serving as President of IBEW Local Union 1392 and building a career in the commercial nuclear power industry.
Drawing on his experience as both an industry professional and labor leader, Matthew is a steadfast advocate for the reliability, economic, and workforce benefits of nuclear energy. In addition to representing IBEW members employed throughout the nuclear energy sector, he is responsible for matters involving conventional, emerging, and innovative energy technologies, including workforce development, regulatory policy, and industry engagement.
As an International Representative, Matthew works with IBEW members, local unions, government officials, and industry partners to improve working conditions, protect workers’ interests, and expand high-quality economic opportunities for electrical workers throughout North America.
A Michigan native, Matthew resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children.
