Yvotte Brits is Chief Reactor Technology Officer at Paragon Energy Solutions, leading integrated I&C development for SMRs and advanced reactors. He previously served as Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain at Brimstone, and held senior roles at X-energy, including Vice President of Supply Chain and Director of Plant Operations. At X-energy, he helped secure the $2.4B DOE ARDP award and led major initiatives including a $7.5M ARPA-E funded Digital Twin project, NRC-compliant RPS development, and simulator deployment. Yvotte holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from NC State with 20 years experience in the Nuclear Industry and began his career at NECSA and Steenkampskraal Thorium Limited in South Africa.
