Casey Icenhour

Casey Icenhour is a computational scientist with specialties in electromagnetics, plasma physics, and advanced manufacturing modeling and simulation. He is currently an Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Computational Scientist serving on the Multiphysics Object-Oriented Simulation Environment (MOOSE) framework as a development team member. Casey is also the creator and lead of the MOOSE electromagnetics module and co-creator and current lead of the MOOSE Application Library for Advanced Manufacturing UTilitiEs (MALAMUTE). He began his employment at INL while working toward completing his PhD at North Carolina State University in 2018 as an INL Graduate Fellow. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Western Carolina University in 2012 and his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering in 2023.
