Brent Voelker's career in energy spans a wide range of energy technologies and applications: nuclear power plant operations and maintenance, natural gas combined cycle design and construction, jet engine and aircraft cabin environmental control design, cogeneration project development and operations, fuel cell and electrolyzer design and project development. He has spent about half of his career developing and commercializing new technologies, taking complex systems from concept to deployment and operation in challenging environments and markets.
At Bechtel, Brent learned the fundamentals of large capital project development, design, and construction. At United Technologies and FuelCell Energy, he developed expertise in applying systems engineering best practices to manage design, certification, and entry into service. At Novellum Partners, he applies all of this experience to help new technology companies achieve commercial success.
Brent holds a BS Engineering Physics from RPI and a MS Energy Policy from Virginia Tech.
