Jason Andrus is Head of Nuclear Operations and Regulatory Affairs at Antares Nuclear, where he leads regulatory strategy, safety management programs, and nuclear operations supporting the deployment of advanced microreactor systems for government and commercial customers. In this role, he is responsible for securing regulatory approvals for safety and related documentation, establishing the programs necessary for safe nuclear operations, and enabling the successful deployment of Antares technologies.
Mr. Andrus has 15 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector, with expertise spanning nuclear safety, regulatory affairs, engineering leadership, and fuel-cycle operations. Prior to joining Antares, he served at Idaho National Laboratory, departing from there as the Deputy Director for Engineering at the Materials and Fuels Complex. His work contributed to the development of regulatory frameworks and guidance now being leveraged by both the U.S. Department of Energy and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to enable Advanced Reactor and Microreactor deployments.
