Matthew McClellan serves as Senior Manager, Costing at Aalo Atomics, where he leads all costing efforts in support of near-term R&D programs and long-range commercial planning. His work includes costing advanced development projects such as Aalo-X, shaping factory plans to ensure the company has the facilities and capital assets needed to meet its goals, and maintaining a full cost model for the Aalo Pod, Aalo’s commercial product, to define and refine its unit economics.Before joining Aalo, Matthew spent five years at Nike, where he developed and applied costing strategies across a global network of footwear manufacturing facilities producing more than 300 million units annually. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has expanded his expertise in sustainability through MIT Professional Education and OnePointFive’s Sustainability Consulting Accelerator.
