Patrick Donnelly began his career at the Newport News Shipbuilding, where he built a strong technical foundation in the nuclear industry. He later joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), serving first as a project manager on the AP1000 Design Control Document amendment review and subsequently as a construction resident inspector at both the VC Summer and Vogtle new-build projects.
After his NRC tenure, Patrick transitioned to Westinghouse’s Fuel Fabrication Facility, starting as a design engineer and advancing to Regulatory Affairs Manager. Following five years at Westinghouse, he joined TerraPower as a licensing engineer and is now the Director of Natrium Licensing, guiding regulatory strategy for the project.
