Jesse Thomas serves as the General Manager, Strategy and Innovation, for Southern Nuclear, where he oversees fleet alignment, organizational effectiveness, innovation initiatives, and artificial intelligence. He was previously on loan at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) as a continuum leader. Before his INPO rotation, Jesse led Vogtle 1&2 as plant manager following leadership roles in multiple departments including operations and the Vogtle Units 3&4 construction project. Jesse is a licensed professional engineer in Georgia and previously served as a combat engineer officer in the US Army.
