Sebastien Barruol

Sebastien Barruol serves as Business Development Manager for Bechtel’s Nuclear Power business, responsible for customer engagement, market strategy, marketing, early-stage commercial negotiations, and pursuit and bid activities across the nuclear sector.

Sebastien previously held commercial roles in prime contracts and project controls on the Rio Grande Liquefied Natural Gas project in Texas, where he led change management and estimating functions, and managed the contract for the project’s second-phase expansion.

Prior to that, Sebastien served as Chief of Staff to Bechtel’s Chief Financial Officer, supporting the company’s financial activities including FP&A, treasury, accounting, tax, shared services, and project finance. He also previously served as Senior Development Manager in Bechtel Enterprises, Bechtel’s development, investment, and financing services arm, where he focused on large-scale transportation projects.

Prior to joining Bechtel, Sebastien worked in engineering, construction, and business development roles on infrastructure projects in Asia and the Middle East with the firms Systra and Egis.

Sebastien holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from ESTP Paris, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University, an MBA from the Wharton School and an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
