Jon Facemire is a Director in the New Nuclear group at NEI. Jon leads risk-informed licensing and engineering including the licensing modernization project (LMP), Part 53, Advanced Reactor Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA), and graded approaches to new reactor site characterization. Prior to joining NEI, Jon was the Licensing Manager leading development of X-Energy’s LMP Safety Analysis Report (SAR) for Project Long Mott. Prior to shifting to new reactors Jon supported the operating fleet for over a decade at Jensen Hughes, serving as the site and then fleet risk management engineer at Calvert Cliffs and Ginna.
