After more than twenty-five years in recruiting, Alan was provided a new challenge in the Spring of 2024 when he became the Supervisor of Nuclear Recruiting for Dominion Energy. In this role, he leads a team of recruiting professionals who help attract the best and brightest talent to the company’s four nuclear power stations. He is excited to be a part of the “nuclear renaissance” striving to meet the country’s increasing energy demands without burning more fossil fuels.
Prior to his current role, he spent four years building and leading a new Talent Sourcing Team (TST) for Dominion Energy. As the Supervisor of TST, he had the pleasure to work with an amazing team of Talent Sourcing Specialists who drove a wide variety of proactive recruiting initiatives.
Before joining Dominion Energy, he spent twenty years with Wells Fargo Bank in a variety of recruiting roles.
Alan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond. His free time is focused on his family, travelling, and cheering his Miami Dolphins onto mediocrity. He also has a passion for writing historical fiction and hopes to publish his debut novel in the near future!
