Alex Brown is Chief Operating Officer at Atomic Canyon, where he leads product development and operations. Founded in 2023, Atomic Canyon builds AI solutions for the nuclear energy industry. Atomic Canyon's Neutron Platform combines nuclear-specific enterprise search and generative AI tools. Both are powered by FERMI, a family of domain-specific sentence embedding models. Nuclear professionals across the industry use Neutron today, including at PG&E's Diablo Canyon and through the Nuclear Industry Virtual Assistant (NIVA), developed in collaboration with INPO, EPRI, and NEI for the entire North American operating fleet. Alex brings extensive experience building solutions for highly regulated industries, including Head of Product at Diligent Robotics and Co-Founder of WovenX Health. He earned his BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.
