Kelli Voelsing

Kelli Voelsing is the Senior Director in NEI's Engineering and Risk group, where she leads activities spanning Engineering, Risk, and Digital I&C. She also supports various industry projects related to application of AI in the nuclear industry. Prior to joining NEI, Kelli was Senior Program Manager for Plant Reliability and Resilience at EPRI, leading global research activities in engineering, maintenance, and instrumentation & controls (I&C) for nuclear power plants. She also managed EPRI's Risk and Safety Management program, where she developed advanced probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) methods and supported risk-informed initiatives including 50.69, Risk-Informed Technical Specifications, fire PRA, and seismic risk. Kelli previously held technical and leadership positions at AREVA NP (now Framatome), GE-Hitachi, and Progress Energy (now Duke Energy), with experience spanning engineering, operations, licensing/regulatory affairs, and emergency planning.
